Thank you for considering to support me as I fundraise for arthritis research! Arthritis affects over 6 million people in Canada. There are many types of arthritis, affecting people of all ages. It can prevent a toddler from walking without a limp, a new mother from holding her child, and a grandparent from walking without pain.

Living pain-free is a gift that we often take for granted, and arthritis can take that away.

As a rheumatologist, I often describe movement as medicine. It can help improve pain and function for people with arthritis. I’m taking part in the MOVE with Arthritis Research challenge to practice what I preach. I’m committing to at least 30 minutes of movement, 5 days a week. Every dollar raised will support life-changing arthritis research.

This initiative is particularly important to me because I’m an aspiring rheumatologist-scientist. After 9 years of medical training, I started a PhD and dedicated my career to improving care for people with arthritis. To succeed, I need funding support. On behalf of all aspiring rheumatologist-scientists, I kindly ask that you consider donating to support us as we work towards improving the lives of the patients we care for who live with arthritis every day.
